Under Attack: Incident Response Workshop
Information
The Cyber Innovation Hub will run a one-hour incident response workshop in which participants will face a simulated ransomware attack.
Participants will explore the challenges organisations face when dealing with such incidents, including leadership involvement, a technical team’s responsibilities, interdepartmental dependencies, and handling of legal obligations and communication with both internal and external stakeholders. They will experience how to navigate through a critical situation where a ransom demand is being made and customer data is at risk. This workshop aims to encourage collaborative discussions that enhance participants’ knowledge of incident handling, particularly in relation to ransomware, a cyber attack that is being reported more frequently than ever, and as we’ve witnessed, can have a devastating impact on both businesses and individuals.
This interactive exercise is designed to simulate a real-world scenario, where just as you think the situation is under control, unexpected challenges can arise!
This hands-on workshop is designed for professionals responsible for protecting their organisation from cyber threats or managing crisis situations when they occur.
Whether you’re a senior leader, IT or security specialist, communications professional, or legal advisor, this session will challenge your decision-making, teamwork, and crisis management skills in real time.
